Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed with Sonshine Sweets Cakery, LLC through this website, by phone, text, email or social media. By placing an order you agree to them.

Ordering and notice

• Menu cakes and custom cakes require at least 7 days notice.
• Cupcakes, cookies and cake pops require at least 3 days notice.
• Orders are confirmed once payment (or a custom cake deposit) is received. Dates fill up, so ordering early is recommended.

Payments and deposits

• Menu orders (menu cakes, cupcakes, cookies and cake pops) are paid in full when you order online.
• Custom cakes: a 50% deposit is due to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery.
• Delivery beyond 10 miles is collected at delivery.
• Online payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Cancellations and changes

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your pickup or delivery time.
• Custom cake deposits are non-refundable.
• We will do our best to accommodate changes to flavors, designs or dates. Contact us as early as possible.

Pricing

Menu cakes include buttercream frosting and filling, a piped buttercream border and an optional message on top. Specialty fillings are priced by size and charged at checkout. Menu cakes are not custom: themed designs, colored cakes, décor, toppers, fondant and extra-tall cakes are custom orders, quoted separately. Custom pricing depends on complexity, flavor selection and seasonal ingredients.

Pickup and delivery

• Pickup is in Canton, Georgia. The address is shared after your order is placed.
• Delivery is free within 10 miles of our Canton kitchen (30114). Beyond 10 miles, delivery starts at $1 per mile.
• Someone must be available to receive the order. Once an order is picked up or delivered, we are not responsible for damage caused by transport, heat or handling.

Allergens

Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of allergens. Please tell us about allergies when ordering.

Cottage food disclosure

Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to state food safety inspections, in accordance with Georgia cottage food laws.

Designs and photos

Each item is handmade, so small differences from inspiration photos are normal. We may share photos of our creations on social media. Let us know if you would prefer we did not.
